Red Cross Babysitting Clinic

Taught by American Red Cross instructors, this interactive course prepares participants for the various situations they may encounter while caring for a child. The class teaches simple care like feeding and changing to basic first aid. Students are tested on all the information presented in the clinic. Participants must provide a sack lunch, drink, notepad and sharp pencil.

Having a difficult time mastering all the bells and whistles on that new digital camera? You’re not alone. But this course teaches techniques to help you master your digital camera and use camera equipment advantageously. Participants learn how to efficiently store images on a computer, print digital images, send photos via e-mail and much more.
Prerequisite: Read your camera manual and list your questions prior to class. Participants must bring digital camera and manual to classes and have access to a computer with image storing capability.

Calling all scrapbookers! Ever feel like there's not enough time in the day or space in your home to work on those unfinished pages? Well, we have the solution! Set aside a night once a month to enjoy uninterrupted time to learn new techniques, spend time with friends, work on your pages and have a lot of fun.
Each person will have a large individual crop space, access to a large variety of scrapooking tools and supplies and the opportunity to learn from and /or ask questions of a scrapbooking consultant. Join us for dinner, drinks and prizes... And of course, the chocolate will be flowing!! All levels of scrapbookers are welcome.

NFL Punt Pass and Kick Competition
Boys and girls can test out their football skills at this free competition sponsored by CARD, the Raiders Youth Football program and the National Football League. Participants will compete in punting, passing and placekicking skills against boys or girls of their own age group. Participants will be required to provide proof of age prior to advancing to sectionals.

Duck! Dodgeball is now in Collinsville. Co-rec teams of six to 10 players (at least two females) will put it all on the line to outlast opponents in an atmosphere of safe, friendly, yet fierce competition. Using specially coated foam balls, teams each week will play five games per match.

6:30 p.m. Thursday evenings beginning Oct. 2

Schedule: eight weeks plus playoffs
