Summer Camps with a Splash!
Participants in these programs enjoy a specialty camp in the morning and spend the afternoon at
Splash City Family Waterpark.
Campers are to be picked up no later than 5 pm each day. Participants must bring a sack lunch, swim suit, towel and sunscreen daily.
Wild Wonders Day Camp
Based on the philosophy put forth by Richard Louv in his book Last Child in the Woods, this camp goes back to a time when going outside was a hands-on activity, not simply a "spectator sport". Our camp will serve as a medium for kids to personally connect with nature in their own individual ways, through activities like fishing with personally-made fishing poles, building shelters, hiking, completing science projects at Arlington Wetlands, and creating art projects. The camp is based at Willoughby Heritage Farm but will move to locations throughout the District depending on the day and activity (transportation is included). The week will conclude “with a splash” at our own Splash City Family Waterpark.

Wacky Winter Day Camp
Ages 6-12
Check back in the fall for information about this winter camp.
Just as winter break was intended: this camp is all about having fun. Throughout the camp, we will swim, rock climb and ice skate; as well as visit a museum or two. When we are not on field trips, we will play games, complete art projects, and learn some neat science tricks to show the family at home.
$175 per camper; includes transportation and admission to all field trip locations, as well as a snack each day. Campers must bring their own lunches.
