Woodland Park
Collinsville's oldest park has a special story behind it. Woodland's Arthur Fletcher Field is home of the Collinsville High School Baseball Kahoks. Woodland Park's 49.5 acres used to house Fletcher Field and a dump at the same time. After years of hard work, Woodland Park has reached the beautiful condition that it is in today. The Park is home of three other ball fields, Jaycee Softball Field, Fletcher Jr. Field, and Tomahawk Field.

Woodland has a fishing lake, that allows for ice skating in the winter months, and is home to numerous ducks and geese. Off the north shore of the lake is the concert amphitheater that hosts the summer concert series. Located next to the amphitheater is Woodland Park's bridge.

Woodland Park also features four picnic pavilions, playground equipment, and restrooms. Woodland Park also houses the Collinsville Area Recreation District's park maintenance headquarters.

Woodland Park has four pavilions available for rental. They are the Jaycee pavilion which houses 14-8' tables and seats 112, the Optimist pavilion which has 10-6' tables and seats 60, the Rotary pavilion which has 6-6' tables and seats 36 and the Lions pavilion which houses 6-6' tables and seats 36. For more information on pavilion rentals click here.  For a map of Woodland Park and the location of its pavilions click here.

As of the fall of 2003 Woodland Park is the home of "Woodland Chains".  Woodland Chains is a 18 hole 'disc golf' course that has been developed with the support of numerous private sponsors under the watchful eyes of volunteer developers Jeff Ligon and Robert Toebe.  Similar to traditional golf, golfers throw a flying disc or frisbee into a basket striving to acquire the lowest score.  Woodland Chains plays throughout Woodland Park with the first tee being located near the restrooms next to the Lions Pavilion.  We welcome you to try this popular sport on this newly designed and developed course.  For a map of Woodland Chains.
