President's Message
Welcome to the Collinsville Area Recreation District! At this seasonally updated site you will find information not only about the many current programs and services available for you and your family, but also about the many wonderful amenities, operating under the direction of the District, such as, the Splash City Family Waterpark.
In addition to the many programs and events listed on this seasonal site, we have included a locator which shows all of the parks and their available features. These include Woodland Park, Jaycee Sports Complex, Morris Hills Park, Glidden Civic Park, Donald O. and Edward J. Schnuck Memorial Park and Maryville School Park. If you plan to have a picnic and need to reserve a park pavilion it is best to make your reservation as far in advance as possible. Five pavilions are available and may be reserved in advance for a modest fee. These pavilions are Optimist, Jaycee, Lions and Rotary in Woodland Park, and the Junior Service Pavilion in Glidden Park. Most of the pavilions have play equipment nearby and are heavily used during the picnic season. Don’t delay! Reservations must be made in person at the CARD office any weekday between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. and until Noon on Saturday.
Our lives benefit when we take time to engage in exercise, expand our knowledge, take a trip with friends, enjoy a peaceful afternoon, or simply find a place to spend some quality time with family. CARD offers you opportunities for all of these!
