Early Childhood

For the Winter & Spring of 2008, CARD is offering the following programs and services.
Registration Opens: January, 2008

Totally Tots Playtime
Come on in to the CARD Activity Center with your toddler for an hour or so of FUN!  Enjoy all of our new equipment including tumbling mats, oversized foam blocks, tunnels and playhouse, balls, hoops, parachute and more.  The playtime is open to ages 1-4 and will provide a great opportunity for social interaction and motor skill development.  If you haven’t seen our playroom lately…then you haven’t seen our playroom.
Ages: 1-4
Time: 9:30-11 a.m.
Date: Thursdays, January 10-April 24
Fees:  $2 per day per child
Enrollment (Min/Max):  Open
Registration Deadline: Daily at the front desk.
Location: CARD Activity Center

Let’s Explore!
Join us for a little bit of learning & a lot of fun as we explore nature! Children will also complete their own special art project with some help from their parent or accompanying adult.
Parent/adult participation is required. Wear clothes you won’t mind getting a little messy.
Ages: 4-6
Time: 10-11:30 a.m.
Date: Saturday, March 1
Fees (per child):  $8 resident; $12 nonresident
Enrollment (Min/Max):  6/10 children (limit of 2 children per adult)
Registration Deadline: By 5 p.m. on 2/21

Tiny Tots Tumbling
A fundamental program where children are introduced to basic tumbling & movement exploration skills, such as forward & backward rolls, different types of jumps & basic balance beam skills. They’ll also learn how to finish their routine, just like in the Olympics! Students will gain strength, flexibility & self-confidence while enjoying fun-filled activities.
Ages: 3-5
Time: 11-11:45 a.m.
Date: Saturdays (8 weeks)
Fees:  $34 resident; $40 nonresident
Enrollment (Min/Max):  5/7

Session: 08W102-B: 3/29-5/17-- register by noon 3/22

Tiny Tykes Tumbling
In this more advanced class, children will continue learning the basics of tumbling & advance to cartwheels, handstands, balance beam jumps & roundoffs. This class has been designed for participants with at least 2 prior sessions of Tiny Tots & consent of the instructor.
Ages: 4-6
Time: 10-10:45 a.m.
Date: Saturdays (8 weeks)
Fees:  $34 resident; $40 nonresident
